WHAT IS SEQTA ENGAGE?

SEQTA Engage is a powerful tool for parents/caregivers providing an overview of their child’s learning. It also provides a communication channel for parents and teachers enabling greater collaboration and hopefully enhanced learning outcomes for students.

 SEQTA Engage allows you to:

INSTALL THE SEQTA ENGAGE APP

The SEQTA Engage app can be downloaded to any IOS or Android device. Downloading the app will allow you to receive push notifications from SEQTA Engage or simply access your portals through your mobile device. 

TOURS AND EXCURSIONS 

Accepting tours and excursions can be done through SEQTA Engage. This video takes you through the process of viewing outstanding tours, accepting or declining tours and making payments if required for students to attend excursions. 

SETTING UP YOUR DASHBOARD 

The Dashboard is where you can see notes, pastoral care details, student timetables and unresolved absences. To get these to appear on your dashboard, click on the "Options Selected" tab, and tick the boxes of those items you want to show on your dashboard.

BOOKING A PARENT TEACHER INTERVIEW ONLINE

On the SEQTA Engage welcome screen you will find a "Parent Teacher Interview" link. Once you click on this link you will be taken to the secure Parent Lounge and will need your Parent Lounge username and password. Your username for the Lounge is your Parent Code (which can be found on your Tuition Fees account). If you need any assistance with booking a parent teacher interview, please contact us

EMAILING TEACHERS VIA SEQTA ENGAGE

Parents have the ability to email teachers via SEQTA Engage. This can be done through the student timetable by clicking on the class. A pop-up box will appear with an email option.

CHANGING YOUR CONTACT DETAILS

On the SEQTA Engage welcome screen you will find a "Change Details" link. Once you click on this link you will be taken to the secure Parent Lounge and will need your Parent Lounge username and password. Your username for the Lounge is your Parent Code (which can be found on your Tuition Fees account). Click on the "Parent Details" drop down on the top left of screen, and choose "Address Details". Here you can change your home address, phone number and email, as well as updating the Emergency Contacts for your child. 

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SEQTA ENGAGE AND TASS PARENT LOUNGE?

SEQTA Engage is a learning management system that incorporates attendance, pastoral care and timetabling.

The TASS Parent Lounge is a secure platform that hosts payments, excursion acceptance, booking of Parent Teacher interviews and where you can make change of details.

Both platforms can be accessed securely through the SEQTA Engage site or app.

HOW DO I LOGIN TO SEQTA ENGAGE?

Your access to SEQTA Engage begins on receipt of an email from the School. This individualised email invites you to set up a SEQTA Engage account with the School. A link is available for download, providing you with step-by-step instructions on how to access SEQTA Engage from a personal computer or through the SEQTA Engage mobile app. Find out how to install the app on your mobile device here.

AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PASSWORD SECURITY

TASS Parent Lounge will still be used for payments, excursions, booking parent-teacher interviews and updating details. For security reasons, your username and password for the Parent Lounge will be separate from your login details for SEQTA Engage. Password management best practice suggests making login details different for every platform and we encourage using a different password and username for SEQTA Engage. Both Parent Lounge and SEQTA Engage have a process for forgotten passwords that can be accessed from each login. If you have forgotten your username or need any other assistance with logging on to either of these platforms, please contact us.
